• Local Learning Data: Your progress, study statistics, flashcard states, custom notes, bookmarked items, and lesson completion are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any servers.
• Advertising Identifiers: Anonymous advertising IDs are used by Google AdMob to display ads. No personally identifiable information is collected through advertising.
• App Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (which features are popular, app performance, etc.). This includes anonymous usage data, device information, and app interactions. No personal information is collected.

How We Use Your Information

• App Functionality: All user inputs including notes, search queries, date conversions, number conversions, and other in-app features are processed locally on your device. None of this data is collected, transmitted, or stored on external servers.
• App Analytics: Firebase Analytics helps us understand app usage patterns, popular features, and performance issues to improve your experience. All data collected is anonymous and aggregated.
• Advertising: Anonymous identifiers help display relevant ads through Google AdMob, which keeps the app free.

Your Rights & Control

You have full control over your data:

• Access Your Data: All your data is accessible within the app settings and locally stored.
• Delete Data: Clear app data from your device settings to permanently remove all learning progress, notes, and app preferences from your device.
• Opt-out of Personalized Ads: Adjust ad tracking settings on your device:
  • iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking > Limit Ad Tracking
  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization

Data Retention

Since all personal data is stored locally on your device:

• Data persists until you delete the app or clear app data
• We do not retain any personal data on our servers
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data permanently

Children’s Privacy

Yomikko is suitable for all ages including children. We take children’s privacy seriously:

• No personal information is collected from any user, including children
• No registration or account creation required
• All data stored locally on device only
• Ads are family-friendly and comply with COPPA guidelines
• No in-app purchases that could lead to unauthorized charges
